Attesa, attesa, attesa...Quanto tempo della nostra vita passiamo ad attendere cose che forse non arriveranno mai? Si tratta del tema di una mostra particolare che si svolge in questi giorni presso la Sala Uno, a Roma, nei pressi di San Giovanni, traformata per l'appunto, in una Sala d'Attesa.
Dieci gli artisti presenti (Agnieszka Blazy, Joanna Ganczarek, Isabella De Chiara, Cristiana Fasano, Eduardo Herrera, Daniela Masala, Adriano Petrucci, Serena Santamaria, Alessandro Vizzini, Simone Zaccarella), dieci ragazzi che hanno appena terminato gli studi all'accademia di belle arti di Roma e sono pronti a confrontarsi con mezzi espressivi diversi da quelli canonici. Ecco dunque scultori alle prese con video e istallazioni acustiche o pittori che creano oggetti dalle forme eteree. Lo spazio viene trasformato da una lunga linea gialla, opera di Agnieszka Blazy e Joanna Ganczarek, che simbolegga l'attesa dei passeggeri nelle stazioni. Le opere sono collegate da corde, avvolte al corpo di Cristiana Fasano, scenografa che si ritrova attrice in una performance che trasfigura l'ambiente, portando gli spettatori ad attendere il proprio turno per recarsi da un'opera all'altra. Adriano Petrucci propone un contenitore di tempo: un grande barattolo che contiene i bigliettini col numero che si usano per fare la fila al supermercato, firmati da chi li aveva presi. Tra istallazioni di scarpe e suoni, tra poesie nel vetro e sedie con video lo spettatore non sa più cosa attendere, e l'attesa, per una volta, diventa incredibilmente dolce.

Waiting, waiting, waiting...How much time of our life is spent 
waiting for things that maybe will never arrive? That's the time of a curious exhibition set in these days in Sala Uno, in Rome, near San Giovanni, transformed for this reason in "Sala D'Attesa" (waiting room). The artists involved are ten (Agnieszka Blazy, Joanna Ganczarek, Isabella De Chiara, Cristiana Fasano, Eduardo Herrera, Daniela Masala, Adriano Petrucci, Serena Santamaria, Alessandro Vizzini, Simone Zaccarella), ten youths that have just finished the studies in the Accademy of Fine Arts and now are ready to face new expressive tools, different from the usual one. That's why we see scupltors making videos and acustic operas, or painters making soft objects. The space is transformed by a long yellow line, by Agnieszka Blazy e Joanna Ganczarek, rappresenting the waiting of passengers in the stations. The pieces are connected by ropes, tied to the body of Cristiana Fasano, a scenographer who become actress in a performance that change the atmosphere, bringing the audience to wait in order to go from a opera to another. Adriano Petrucci proposes a time capsule: a big glass box full of numbers used in supermarkets, signed by the people that used it. Between shoes and sounds, glass poetry and video chairs, the viewer don't know what's next, and the waiting, for this time, become incredibly sweet.
