Un'ora e quarantacinque minuti di silenzio / An hour and forttfive minutes of silence

Chi ha la fortuna di essere a Londra in questi giorni può regalarsi un'ora e quarantacinque minuti di silenzio. Basta andare al National Theatre a guardare "The Hour We Knew Nothing of Each Other" (L'ora in cui non sapevamo niente l'uno dell'altro) di Peter Handke. Durante lo spettacolo sfilano sul palco 450 personaggi interpretati da 27 attori. "Teatro diluito nella sua essenza di guardare gli altri", secondo il regista. Un'idea che mi sembra splendida, perché porta sul palcoscenico le nostre esperienze quotidiane, ci insegna a ascoltare il silenzio e, soprattutto, a osservare gli altri. A volte le parole non servono e bastano gli occhi a vivere la magia del teatro.
